LA LA MUSIQ is an independent national recording artist and songwriter born in Shelby, Mississippi and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - who has been singing and writing since she was very young.
La La is the Worship Leader at The Multitude of Christ Ministry, Inc. in Canton, Texas; and has written gospel songs and appeared in music videos for various local churches throughout the Dallas, Texas area. She has performed nationally and is currently a 3x Texas Gospel Music Excellence Awards finalist, 7x Vocal Gospel Music Awards nominee, and 5x Gospel Music Awards nominee for 2023.
Her debut album "Set Apart" has been recognized by The International Singer Songwriters Association, including winning the 2020 ISSA Female Emerging Artist of The Year Award! In August 2021, she released her sophomore album "The Awakening" - which earned the 2022 ISSA Female Emerging Artist of The Year Award.
La La's 2022 collaboration single "Sistar" with Zemira Israel is officially GRAMMY balloted and nominated for "Song of The Year" and "Record of The Year"; as well as receiving the 2022 Indie Songwriters Awards for Best Duo. Additional awards she's earned for the single "Warrior" are 2021 Sounds of DFW Bop Song of The Year Award and 2022 World Music Awards Inspirational Song of The Year; and for "He's My Rock" she received the January 2023 Akademia Music Award for Best Christian / Gospel Song.
La La Musiq has been selected to be November Artist of The Month for The 2023 Indie Gospel Calendar by Paul Puckett publications.
